A visit to Klang prior to report in day!..

Hi guys.
I am doing my internship at SoonSoon Flour Mill at West Port. Here, I have written about my first day adventure to the company.

I and roads+signboards? We could never get along, unless I a have known the road for quite a while. I planned for an adventure, just the weekend before I was supposed to report in, to West Port. Saturday morning, still snoozing on bed, my old time friend, Arasu called me. What a coincidence, he was in KL for the weekend. He couldn't say no as I persuaded him to follow me. Since he too, needed my help, we compromised.

So sharp 1150pm, I arrived at his aunt's and we reached Klang close to 130pm. Port Klang was just 30mins away, instead we dropped by for lunch. Apart form the costly but tasty lunch, getting to West Port from Klang town, was quite amaze to me. Somehow, we made it, only till the port entrance, as a post pass is required to get into the port. On the way out of Pulau India, we identified a few eat outs and headed back to Klang town. It was then SHOPPING time!!.

And so, that was the first visit. I am sure there will be more interesting to write about my daily trips to Klang. We shall read together when I am done with it.

KTM - Keretapi Tanah Melayu

Hi,

Finally guys, I found a topic which would be just nice to talk about.

KTM - Is it best to call it Keretapi Terlambat Malaysia or Keretapi Tanah Melayu sounds just fine?

Damn, ever since I started sulking about KTM's service, I have never seen it improved. What is happening to the service? If you live in Segambut, or Kepong, you'd understand and feel my cry. I remember my first day at work after my SPM examination in 2003, I was late by an hour! I wasn't able to board three trains that arrived at Segambut station. If you are saying I should have waited before 730 just to get to Bangsar by 845, then read further!! To add on, they never arrived on time, only in time for the next schedule. Two years later after my STPM examination, assuming things were much better with KTM, once again I was out down when I had to leave home by 730 just to make it to my office, by 845am, (this is the catch) at KL Sentral.

Now, that I am doing my internship at Klang, I have to leave home by 6am. This is kinda a adoptable but to bear with the fact that KTM's are still not on time, it is very difficult.
What is KTM's problem? Why isn't anyone seem to do anything about it? Once, Ex-PM, Dato Abdullah made a spot-check cum visit at a KTM station and was shocked to see the number of people who were disappointed by its poor service. Yet, things don't seem changed!

Will this be a never-ending cycle? In years to come, when the population has increased, especially in the city area, is KTM still going to claim, there isn't enough fund, can't find spare parts, waiting for the new coaches to arrive soon?

Wake up!!!
